SnapZone ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Chrome extension and website.
Authentication Data: When you sign in to SnapZone, we collect your email address and basic profile information via Firebase Authentication (Google or Email). This is used solely to manage your account and identify your subscription status.
Usage Data: We track the number of screenshots taken to enforce the free tier limits and provide premium features. This count is stored in our secure cloud database (Firestore).
No Image Data: SnapZone does NOT collect, store, or transmit your captured screenshots. All image processing happens locally on your device. Images are either copied to your clipboard or saved directly to your local downloads folder.
We use industry-standard security measures (Firebase/Google Cloud) to protect your authentication data. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties.
We use Stripe for payment processing. We do not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to Stripe, whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy.
Our extension requires certain permissions (activeTab, storage, downloads, scripting) to function. These are used exclusively to provide the screenshot and selection features described in our documentation.
